WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. — Kimberley Stevens was named the MSC Women's Athlete of the Year, and the Lindsey Wilson women's team won its second conference championship at the 2016 Mid-South Conference Track & Field Championships on Saturday at James H. Taylor II Stadium. 

Stevens earned the MSC Women's Athlete of the Year honor by accumulating the most points of any student-athlete at Friday and Saturday's MSC Championships. On day one, she earned MSC First Team honors in the javelin and MSC Second Team honors in the long jump, and on day two, Stevens garnered MSC First Team honors in the 400 meter dash (1:00.19) — for the second year in a row — and MSC Second Team honors in the triple jump (11.08 meters, 36-04.25 feet) and the 4x100 meter relay.
